Notes: I chose only the anime version as I felt that:
a) despite the pretty manga-art, CLAMP gave these two no justice
b) the manga is so ambiguous that I'm still lost on why some things happened the way they did. Srsly now.
c) Hikaru and Lantis together got a lot of spotlight in the second season of the anime and many important, only-anime events and characters led to their development as a couple.
d) I do not understand CLAMP generally...xDD
e) ANIME AAAAAAAAL THE WAY! ♥

...*cough* I'm sorry it came out as a fanfiction, I could not be short. I wanted things to make sense even to those who hadn't seen the MKR. ^^;

...though 13,000 words is probably pushing it. It's all interaction-y and graphic-y (going as far as animated gifs too. ♥)

P.S: This is part I. Part II is hot on this one's heels. ♥

Notes: This took a long time for me to write, and I was unsure how to go about it. So I hope it’s enjoyable and understandable and I’m able to convey my… stupid amount of love for this pairing. I agonized over it because it’s just so… hard to explain why I love this pairing so much, so I hope that I was able to convey it. I’ll probably be editing this manifesto a lot within the next couple of days…

Secondly, there has been some speculation due to a recent comment made by CLAMP over Zashiki Warashi’s possible gender. Until I hear real confirmation, I’ll continue to refer to Zashiki Warashi as a “she.” Whatever her gender may be, she appears and presents as a female, and is regarded as a female by other characters—so that’s how I’ll refer to her as well.
Thirdly, this manifesto deals only with the manga evidence. While it’s to my understanding that there are many sweet moments between the two in the anime, I don’t personally watch the anime and therefore cannot give accurate analysis on the episodes.
