I totally agree with you on how right the Clex feels. Smallville is my very first fandom and was my introduction to slash. When I discovered Clark/Lex fanfiction, I was ecstatic. Everything just fell into place for me. I knew why I was so strongly drawn to Smallville--I was registering the subtext even before I had a name for what it was.
