Joe was far and away my favorite character from HL. He melted me when he sang, SOOOO sexy despite his age. (Or perhaps because of it, his wider experiences.) I'd never thought to slash him before, however, because I was mentally Mary Sueing myself because the natural guy to put him with would be McCloud or Richie and I never saw any chemistry there. Methos never crossed my mind before, but believe me I'll be looking for their interactions in the future. Thanks for an interesting essay!
