Mmm, I agree there. I've always considered Willow a very 50/50 bisexual, and while her more relaxed dynamic with Oz certainly is quite desexualised, especially compared to the passion of B/A and X/C at that time, the Xander fling showed a lot of heterosexual desire.
When Willow started going out with Oz, she was painfully shy and insecure. I think she found it very hard to express her sexuality. In one way, Oz's extreme laid-backness made him a good partner for her, because it allowed her to gently come out of her shell without being pressurised. Unquestionably, Oz was one of the best things that ever happened to her. However, this initial nervous go-slow thing set the dynamic for Willow/Oz, to the point where she got much more confident in general, but still acted very young around him.
