Thanks for that! The first season of Roswell was such a delight (I try to pretend the other seasons were vague though occasionally pleasant dreams) because of that powerful central romance. And really the show was a romance - the aliens, the conspiracies, all of it was just the wrapper that particular love story came in. It was great too that Liz had such firm ideas of her own future, was unafraid of her own desires - in that first season we were seeing so much through her eyes and she was more than capable of driving the story.
