Oddly, I tend to see them as both equally fumbling in their LOVEomg!!! Um, sorry: it bursts out of me occasionally. The feeding of Angel is a key moment in their relationship, I agree. The only other people we've seen feeding Angel (with like, their own blood, not like, cinammon tops from Cordy) are Buffy and Darla. This cannot be a coincidence.
