Tim's story is presented as pretty normal, in context. I think part of this may be because he's penned by an industry where rabid fanboys make good pretty often by dint of their persistence and skill.
Really, truly, don't catch up on Robin -- including 120 on, but especially not 130 and afterward. It is painful and not Tim at all in my reading, and in the reading of everyone I've discussed it with.
