Wai! Junpei and Izumi *definately* need the love. Excellent essay and you've pointed out a great many things that I adore about these two. Your essay really makes me wish that I hadn't deleted my fansubs, because now? I really want to go back and rewatch the series so that I can get more Junpei/Izumi goodness.
