I was a rather casual fan of Early Edition, but I absolutely *adored* Gary Hobson and his fat ginger cat! Heh. So cute, the pair of them. And while I'm more of a slasher (Chuck/Gary), my favourite het pairing in the show has to be Gary/Brigatti as well - the two of them have chemistry, snark and they were pretty funny together. Thanks for the links, will definitely check them out.
PS. Love that you ended with a quote from Chuck - I always loved his opening/ending monologues and the show kinda went downhill for a bit after he left, although it started picking up again in the last season. Great job on the essay. ^_^
