This was wonderful stuff! I particularly liked your take on "Choices." I'd never seen that scene that way before, but you're absolutely right.
As for fics, I have to admit that I have more of a taste for comedic stories between these two. They're both so grim; I can't take them being serious together. Once you open up that genre, there's a LOT of Watcher fic. I have a deep and abiding love for Jay Kayelle; her Giles/Wes stuff makes me giggle every time. Also, if you join the gilesnaughty yahoo group and look around 199-2000, you'll see quite a bit of fluffy, silly Watcher fic. None of them great, but many of them fun and entertaining in a "I'll forget these in five minutes but I'm loving them now" sort of way.
