Thanks for the link, and I'm glad you enjoyed the essay! I mentioned to someone else that what I look for in fic is very different than what I think most fans look for -- I'm an editor in RL and I just can't handle the bad writing and terrible mechanics of most fic, anyway, and when it's combined with bad plots or cheesy dialog, I won't go there. No kink in the world... ;-) But I think most fans are happy to have fic, period, so I'm glad you've provided a place for them to go. The show always tended to provide me with what I needed, anyway, so I didn't feel the loss, but I think most fans do, and it's great to know there's another resource.
