I've been devouring fanfiction for about three years now, and just realized this is the first time I've been moved to comment. Huh.
I *do* however, understand how vital feedback can be, especially if your muses are leading your into uncharted territory. The thing is, the Buffyverse is both so rich and so desperately flawed, it's inherently paradoxical nature demands interaction. All of the characters possess unexplored potential, and the established conversational style is just FUN. Basically, it's a pretty marvelous sandbox to play in. And boy...are you building some purty sandcastles. Just ignore that wee Hellmouth in the corner...
There were a few other things I wanted to mention. It's such a relief to see Giles-Joyce-Ethan have *lives*. Joyce in particular seemed to be abandoned by everyone, including the writers, once Buffy moved out. Also, I found your shifting the 'main' characters just to the left of the spotlight refreshing. In case you were wondering, that was an understatement.
"As for the sex, well, it's easy with participants that look like *that*!" Hee. Too true.
