It's kind of strange how the anime has given us visions and ideas of characters who are quite a bit different, may be totally different, or may not even exist in the manga -- particularly, Toshiki, Masaki, and Ujiie Kaoru. I'm fond of... well, I'm fond of EVERYONE after the GBRPG, but especially Toshiki and Masaki, since I played Ren and Teshimine, and I sort of collect female pyros, so I've got a particularly big dose of Mad Love for characters who diverge a lot from the manga. That's unusual for me; I'm more of a manga fan than an anime fan, both overall and when it comes to most specific series that were manga before they were anime (I am mostly uninterested in manga based on anime).
It's particularly strange when I turn around and bring Amon, who appears only in the manga, into a clearly anime-universe setting.
