I have the impression, though it may be wholly inaccurate, that manga-Toshiki comes across in some ways as younger than anime-Toshiki. Okay, so both are moody and magnificent (in black spandex!) and both feel All Betrayed, but in the manga I think there's more of the relationship between Toshiki and Lucifer (and there's something that's begging to be written about) and Lucifer being the one in charge, even if he gives Toshiki a brainwashed Dark Kazuki, while in the anime it's more Toshiki organising his team and being the one dominating Ren.
OF course, this is totally based on picture-reading attempts on my part, given that I can't actually read the Japanese . . . but it does give a bit more differentiation to give Toshiki that slightly younger and more impulsive edge, as opposed to the slightly older Kazuki and Juubei.
