I agree in some sense, but I don't really think those comments alone constitute proving that Xander is gay. Everyone in the Superstar universe was attracted to Jonathn, and Xander's remarks are generally off the cuff and not to be taken seriously. So in conclusion, I think Xander's a bit in the middle I suppose for attempts to prove he's gay or could possibly be gay.
