I was pretty sure it wasn't your original mistake, as one of the things I like best about your writing is its attention to detail. It's easy to miss-hear stuff like that, though, because unless one is familiar with specialist vocabulary the brain translates it into the closest words available. One of the problems with transcription of a program that throws Latin around as if everyone had it from School.
Me, I garden, and do ethnobotany, so I heard it as I would if a friend was describing a new garden planting :-)
