Ah, I just read your manifesto (So I'm a couple months late - who's counting?) And I must say that I'm impressed. When I first started looking at Giles pairings, I fell upon B/G after finding some truly wonderful fics I said - hey I bet W/G would have some great ones too...
I must give you kudos for openaly admitting that there isn't a whole bunch of good fic in W/G. It bothered me greatly that Willow was portrayed so one dimensionally, and we won't even talk about Giles.
It has always perplexed me that there could be so much potential for a ship and so little good results.
I hope that your manifesto inspired some good writing.
