i am really really sorry but i'm gonna have to beg for another extension on my Odo/Kira manifesto. this thing is kicking my ass in certain parts cuz i'm fighting to not get overwordy while still making things clear to the reader. -_- could i be extended for October 1st? i know that's a long ways away, but i'm REALLY hoping that the big gap gives me the right frame of mind. and i DO really hope/intend to finish it by then as i did get over one major hurdle a couple weeks ago so now i'm on to the other five.

I'm a bit curious about writing a 'shipper manifesto, but my main fandom right now is an RPS one, and there don't appear to be any RPS manifestos, even though there's nothing in the rules against them... is that policy, or just the way things turned out?

We do have a non RPF/RPS policy here, but rp_manifesto has just recently been created to allow RPF/RPS fans to share their manifestos with other like-minded fans. It's just a fledgling comm right now, but everyone is welcome. :D

hey Mod, this is just a question post.

i know that once a person finishes one manifesto, they may ask for another.

basically i am doing a writeup for a pairing from a play by email RPG that i participate in, chronicling their history from the game's beginning to the present as a referral guide for myself for future posts/fics (i write one member of the pairing).

and this manifesto (http://community.livejournal.com/ship_manifesto/230144.html) made me curious--would i be permitted to write a manifesto on my RPG pairing? (after my Odo/Kira one is completed of course!)

at this point i don't have pictures (my friend who plays the other half of the pair chose a really difficult model LOL), but the game's archives are public so i DO have the required "canon" evidence to refer to.

We thought long and hard before okaying the 'ST: Hidden Frontier' manifesto, but eventually decided that it just about fit into the same category as 'Dr Horrible's Singalong Blog' and the first season of 'Sanctuary', which is to say webshows. The episodes are available for download, it has quite a sizeable fanbase, so we allowed it (though there is a train of thought that screams 'this is fanfiction on steroids!).

For now, we've decided that RPGs don't really mesh with our current agenda, but I hope you have fun writing it up anyway, even if it is only for your use (and that of your RPG). :D
