I can truly see why there are ardent lovers of this couple. When you look at it from this angle - they are equals, and friends first. I've never really thought of the H/Hr or R/Hr ships to be honest, but due to this essay, I may just have to reread canon and give the links a go.
Thanks for a really easy to read essay. It's nice not to have people shrieking from the monitor at times.
