Your source is sort of right. It's all kind of rumour, but apparently Eric just house sat for George for awhile... though there are many of us that hope that there's more to it than that.
And I'll just stick the rest of my comments here as I got to this like a YEAR late (sorry about that). As I have commented many times on many of your fics Caroline, I'd just like to say that this essay is just as well written as any of your fics. I actually squee'd and yelled 'yes! exactly!' a number of times.
