Also, "Chasing the Bus" was the first ep I had seen when I was visiting family in India. My mom ADORED this show so she asked me to watch it because also I wasn't scientific, she said that "the issues and the character development" would appeal to my mind. True enough, it did. I just wrote my first piece of fanfic which was angsty Nick/Greg, and am a diehard CSI fan.
In addition, my mother's conservative, but when were were watching that ep, she watched when Nick was comforting Greg and suddenly wanted to mention that Greg had a huge crush on Sarah. I thought that was funny.
