I definitely have to agree about people being too quick to hate the pairing...
As for your questions, NaruHina is my second favorite pairing in Naruto (right after SasuSaku), though after things like chapter 437 I found myself feeling more of a NaruHina craze than what I felt for SasuSaku. I've been pretty indifferent towards Karin for a couple years, but I've started to like her recently after her more humanizing role in the recent arc. Even if she's not one of my favorite characters, I definitely pity her after Sasuke stabbed her, and I'd like to see her become a semi-ally of Konoha (or just Sakura).
As for your other question, NaruSaku is probably my least favorite pairing in this manga. I have a much, much longer explanation on my personal journal (shameless self-plug), but the quick summary is that I definitely haven't had any trouble deciding between it and SasuSaku.
