The following 'ships have already qualified to move on to the final showdown whether they win this round (tourney brackets) or not. A Historical Timeline

1754-1763: Seven years war (America is starting to find his own identity...sexual tensions?)
1776: AMERICAN INDEPENDENCE (NOOOO!!!!! ENGLAND!!!! D:) "You used to be so big...."
1783: Treaty of Paris...(England gives up America. For good. *cry*)
1812-1815: War of 1812 (England and France messing with American ships. America's PO'd. England doesn't care. France lies, and England burns down America's capitol. sadface)
1859: Pig War (more arguing between these two over...pigs? niet. land)
1861-1865: American Civil War (England watching from a distance. Trys to help out Confederate Army somewhat, but soon withdraws its efforts with the publishment of "Uncle Tom's Cabin" and the Battle of Gettysburg. Baaad England. Trying to split America D<)

1898: American victory in Spanish-American War (THE BIRTH OF THE AMERICAN EMPIRE!!!! TAKE THAT ENGLAND)
1917: AMERICA FORMALLY JOINS WWI AND SAVES THE WORLD. INCLUDING ENGLAND. "Germany...believed that the UK would be decisively weakened before the US could mobilize" >D ehehe~<3
1930's: Great Depression (Anglo-American relationship falters again...france claims America's ass. Russia is OK!!!)
1941: AMERICA JOINS WWII AND ONCE AGAIN SAVES THE WORLD. :D AND THE UK <3
1946: "SPECIAL RELATIONSHIP" TERM IS COINED BY CHURCHILL~<3

..And the best part? ALL OF THE ABOVE IS ACTUALLY 100% TRUE. with maybe a few exceptions....
USxUK....It's hot, makes the news/current events and school much more interesting, has its own wiki article, is HELLA complex and old, is STILL ONGOING AND WILL BE FOR A LONG LONG TIME, and helped me get a 5 on the APUSH test..need I saw more? :D
