This is one of my favorite episodes of TT (for different reasons, but never mind that), and it's nice to see another perspective on it. The pairing continuing past the episode honestly never occured to me, but now I'm intrigued. I may have to change a certain dragon's role in the rewrite of an old fanfiction of mine now.
