Yes, seriously, I want a whole crossover universe where these two shows coexist. I swear, they do in my head.
It's funny, Paul/Alva doesn't leap off the screen to me, except that, every so often, there's this sudden intensity. I thought I'd get a better handle on it by writing this, and I did, a little, but... I think really, ultimately, I feel like their personal relationship was just getting started, and the slash is all in the future we never got to see. Which actually works better for me than a fandom like Sentinel, where it seemed like they were sleeping together by the second episode, and then years down the line, it was obvious they never had.
Now, Paul/Sam... I might have to offer you bribes if you were thinking about something like that. :D
