Title: (IR)RECONCILABLE PARTNERS
Author: Mistress Marilyn

Email: camelotslash-2@qwest.net
Pairing: Gamble/Street (Jeremy Renner & Colin Farrell)
Fandom: 'S.W.A.T.' (2003 movie and novel)
Credits: Thanks to
charliemc,
jim_street and
brn_gamble for their help in research, recs and encouragement -- and to Charlie for images and Bri for the wonderful banner and mood theme.
Notes: This pairing is based on the 2003 movie and novel 'S.W.A.T.', not on the 70s television series. The movie used several of the character names from the series, including Jim Street (who was originally portrayed by Robert Urich), evidently in an attempt to connect with an existing audience or perhaps because the writers admitted to a lack of inspiration when it came to the choice of names. Any similarities beyond the names, places and uniforms are strictly coincidental.
More Notes: Reconcile -- To reestablish a close relationship between; to settle or resolve; to bring (oneself) to accept; to make compatible or consistent.
Final Note: Kept to the permissable word count, excluding fanfic recs -- so proud!
Spoilers: If you're not expecting spoilers for the movie, wake up and smell the coffee (and doughnuts) right now.
( Musical Interlude: TaDaDe, TaDaDe, TaDaDe, TaDaDe, TaDaDumDumDum-DumDumDum )
