Many thanks to the Pros fans who took the time - in response to my desperate pleas - to offer me their views on the appeal of Bodie and Doyle, particularly shayheyred, zebra363, fenris_wolf0, and nakeisha - you got me thinking, gave me ideas, and provided some wonderful turns of phrase, some of which I have incorporated herein. Thanks also to smaragdgrun and molly_o, who helped me organize the millions of thoughts and ideas that threatened to overwhelm me, and meri_oddities, who introduced me to Pros, mentored and encouraged me, and eventually entrusted me with her baby, the Circuit Archive. And I have no words sufficient to express my gratitude to Angelfish, my partner-in-Pros, who consoled and cajoled me, offered advice, suggestions, and support when I was ready to tear this whole thing up, inspired me with her deep and enduring love for the characters, and applied her incredible vision, insight, and empathy to my scribblings with sensitivity and a delicate touch.
