In any case, this was just as awesome as the first one. (I remember when you posted it-- god, has it really been two years?) Honestly, I'm on the fence about the whole confliction with Aizen's orders idea-- because it really just could be bad writing on Kubo's part, haha. I can't decide, though.
But I think your last two parts, "But You Made Me More Like You..." and "Goodbye, My Sun..." are my favorite -- and the most beautiful. The quote from Kaien ("when two people interact, hearts are born") is especially poignant, even more so because I can't even remember when that was said but it seems so right. (Can we dream that it was foreshadowing? Can we?)
I feel like we'll be discussing this for a long, long time, and every time I read about it, I'll be sad. I'll never get over it. ULQUOIRRAAAAAA.
