It was wonderful. I had a Manifesto to do for Prison Break (finished now), and I wanted to see some other examples of 'ships that work for me and what others had done. So of course, I read this one first (the "classic" original slash in my book). And then Sam/Dean (Supernatural) and Starsky/Hutch. ;)
That Killashdra story set in New Orleans is still one of the first and most compelling I've read in the K/S fandom. Pushes all my buttons the right way, and oh-- the description and atmosphere in it. Incredible.
