I feel they took the action/adventure in it to a rather goofy level. Plus a lot of little things, like disagreeing with how the bad guys acted, disliking John's daughter, stuff like that.

I love all the actors, though.

I think I wound up reading a John/Gabriel once, though it had no build-up to the pairing and was just evaluation of them messing around. It wasn't bad, per se, but I guess too much of a stretch for me.

I think any pairing can be possible, but it'd be awesome if more people actually set it up to be that way, first, before shoving them together....
