I have to say that what first drew me to the essay was that fact that you said it wasn't necessarily something you expected to happen in canon, which is the opposite of what most people saying in their essays-this must happen, it will happen, and if not the author is a terrible person, etc. That gets old.
But the essay itself was both imaginative and enjoyable, and I think I'll go check out the fanworks now. Thanks you sharing!
