First off, great manifesto! You really get at the core of why these two are so compelling.
I've also been hunting for Berserk fic--I write a little, but only one Griffith/Gutts thing so far over on 1sentence--and offer to write if in challenges like and springkink/kinkfest every chance I get. But you're right, this isn't a very fic-active fandom.
