That was just me exaggerating for the sake of my point. But they do kind of have that married-couple vibe-- there's a great Reload flashback where they almost 'break up' and, they're just...so...married. I have no other word. (Interestingly, my friend majinkarp is pretty sure Minekura describes Kenren and Tenpou as having a 'spousal relationship' on her offical site.)
