I loved this ship manifesto! This pairing is also one of my favorites and I am SO SAD at the lack of fanfiction for this pairing! I honestly don't understand why, but I am I'm really glad you recced those fics because I haven't read any of them and am going to start reading the minute I finish typing this! Yes, I agree with a couple of others on calling Ashura a "s/he" though. I read RG Veda in Japanese and Ashura talks like a male. In Japan male/female speech is very very clearly defined. I always felt Ashura was "he" and believed it simply wasn't stated directly so because CLAMP never declares any yaoi pairing as canon (except for Touya/Yukito) so as to bait their fans! :D
