And I won't hold that against you. Defending your point of view is what makes a conversation interesting or a debate for that matter :) Anyway, if Fuuma or Subaru don't have any solid ground in terms of canon like qualities, then can it truly be called a pairing? Your saying that your pointing out the elements which shows an interesting relationship between them, but the only thing it seems to be pointing to, is significant others and yet at the same time, it's being conferred as a pairing. If we were discussing platonic, I would agree. Also, I'm not saying only canon pairings can be IC, but writing about a relationship of two people requires them both to be at least interested in each-other. How can two characters be written together without relegating the others they care about, and still feel towards one another. Unless they care about two people at the same time? Which brings me to the OOC thing I mentioned earlier.
