During the time when I was still active in the NANA fandom, I found a whole lot of Nobu/Nana fans and not a lot of Takumi/Nana fans (which was a bit disheartening, considering I WAS a Takumi/Nana fan). One of my best friends was actually quite appalled that I shipped Takumi/Nana ("OMG, he's SUCH a bastard!") Getting to the point (lol, I tend to ramble, sorry), the thing I loved most about your manifesto was that it dealt with the fact that Takumi isn't perfect, Nana isn't perfect, and their relationship is FAR from perfect, but they're still willing to try. For me, that was the most important.
There are a lot of things that Takumi has done that I don't agree with (and actually hated him for), but after reading "Takumi's Story", I felt more and more that Takumi was necessarily a bad person - he's just partly a product of his environment and partly an ambitious person, but he's still a human.
Like what brightredglow said, it would be nice if you could delve in a little further (but let's face it, we've all got so much to do and so little time *cries*) in the future - what brightredglow said about Takumi and his possible insecurity was very interesting.
