I would just add that I loved the many scenes in which House speaks about Cuddy when she is not around. Usually he does so in order to snark about her sexiness (to Wilson: "do you like the Brazilian?") but he also displays his true feelings at those times. Most significant in this group is the lab scene after Wilson's date with Cuddy. House tells Wilson in sincere and plain language that he finds her "smart, funny, and has a zesty bod." In other words, Cuddy is his ideal woman.
