...So? I'm kinda confused by this logic, honestly. "They can't be a couple because they are CLAMP characters?" That's just plain unhealthy, honestly, and anyway (as I tried to say in the essay as well), Su/A is kind of like that, anyway. I don't see them moving on, I see them getting together in a fit of physically gorgeous angst. *laugh*

But seriously... no, I don't understand your logic. I understand that X characters are unusually tenacious in their love lives, but at the same time, I don't see how that's an argument against shipping. Seishiro is dead, and while I don't doubt Subaru is extremely messed up by it, what's wrong with him doing something besides sulking all day long?

And what about Kakyou and Kamui? Sure, Kakyou's stuck on his past - but not so much on Hokuto, I think, more on the fact that he's stuck in a perpetual dream because he's comatose (because of Hokuto). And Kamui? Isn't like, half of X about Kamui's attempts to move on from the past? His attempts to get over Kotori's death and understand that Fuuma isn't exactly the person he was anymore? Kamui is moving on, all through X. That's a good thing... I think, anyway.

It's fine that you don't like Su/A. I personally think it's crack, and I totally understand that other people's reactions tend towards "wtf." I just don't understand the argument you're using against it, is all. And sorry if I sound argumentative - I'm really not trying to. ^^; Just trying to explain why I don't follow your argument.
