O_O Love you so dearly. Totally checking out those recs that I haven't yet read (which isn't many considering I'm of the latter group you named - those who actually love the pairing).
This essay was really good, too. For some reason, even though I know/believe many of the things you wrote, this just kept drawing me in to read it. It must have been the detail you put into writing it, because it's very obvious that you thought this through thoroughly. Very wonderful job on it!
