Sigh. I *love* your Giles/Anya. I was sold on them during Tabula Rasa, and even more so in Grave - who would be more right to be with Giles in The Magic Shop? The way she holds his hand, worries about him dying, talks to him.......if ME had gone with that in S7, it would have been believeable. Of course, in my head Anya never died, and is now living happily with Giles while he builds up the new Watchers Council.
Your last paragraph sums them up brilliantly; the way they compliment each other, row and make up, Anya gently bullying Giles into looking after himself, all perfect.
