I'm confused as to how you plan to take only eight pairings from this group. Are we not whittling them down through tournament-style voting?

Yes. We're setting it up just like the NCAA tournament up to the point when it gets down to the final 8 in each tourney breakdown. We'll be taking all of the remaining eight to the final regardless of whether they actually go on to win their bracket. My thinking is that if they got enough votes to make it all the way, almost, to the end then they should be entitled to battle it out for the crown. Does that make sense? *scratches head* I'm quite terrible at explaining things. *G*

Yes, that makes sense. Thank you! I thought you meant before that only eight from this section were moving on to the next round. Just a misunderstanding. ;-)

Awesome tournament, btw. I'd forgotten how many pairings I've shipped over the years until I saw them all lined up like this. Mmm... Aragorn/Boromir.

Sorry for the bother, I know the tournament is probably keeping all the mods busy, but I have another question.

Will Starsky/Hutch be in the next group? I'm pathetically excited about pimping Starsky & Hutch, and I just want to make sure they're in the running.
