Yes Heero/Relena is probably most well know for how much fandom hates it, but I feel like you all should see the not hated side of it and realize why it is awesome and totally deserves to move.

Well, it´s because Relena is one of the most annoying, blatant Mary Sues in canon EVER, that´s why the pairing is hated. I like the women of Gundam Wing, I REALLY like them (even Lady Une)- except for her. Everytimes she turns up and everybody just loves her for totally unknown reasons, I feel the urge to bang my head against the wall. It´s not so much her looks or the fact that she´s a girl, it´s her character that annoys the hell out of me.

The pictures are pretty, though. ;)

Kira Nerys is a Bajoran. Formally a member of the resistence during the Cardassian occupation of Bajor, she is now the liason officer on Deep Space Nine. She's strong, she's competent, and she takes her religion very seriously. (portrayed by Nana Visitor (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000684/).)

Odo long thought he was one of a kind. Found floating in space as an infant (which is totally possible when your natural form is goo), he was studied in a Bajoran lab until he matured enough to be able to mimic the humanoid form. 'Odo' literally means 'unknown sample' in the Bajoran language. Odo has been chief of station security on Deep Space Nine since before Starfleet was given control. (Portrayed by Rene Auberjonois (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0041281/).)

These two are unabashedly adorable. They hold hands and dance and just act like two romantics in love - which I had neither of them pegged as, before. Both can seem rather strict and standoffish, yet somehow you bring them together and they are so sweet. At one point Odo says that he wishes he could be religious, just so he could spend more time with Kira by going to temple with her. Which may seem stalkery out of context, but I swear was cute. In the end he goes back to join his people, which gives them that bittersweet flavour that makes it all the more romantic.

Not to mention, since Odo's natural form is gelatinous - he's a Changeling - there are a lot of, uh, rather kinky implications, fic-wise. I mean, he can be anything. If that sways your vote at all.

Yes. We're setting it up just like the NCAA tournament up to the point when it gets down to the final 8 in each tourney breakdown. We'll be taking all of the remaining eight to the final regardless of whether they actually go on to win their bracket. My thinking is that if they got enough votes to make it all the way, almost, to the end then they should be entitled to battle it out for the crown. Does that make sense? *scratches head* I'm quite terrible at explaining things. *G*

63: Makino Tsukushi / Doumyouji Tsukasa (Hana Yori Dango)

WARNING: SPOILERS for Hana Yori Dango (though very general)

Doumyouji and Makino are probably my favourite anime couple. They're funny and adorable, and have something of a Pride & Prejudice situation going on.

Doumyouji is the most popular guy in school, mostly thanks to his family's wealth, and at the beginning of their story, he's a total douche. Makino is the poor girl who got into the school on her grades alone, gets picked on by everyone, and doesn't put up with Doumyouji's crap at all. Of course, this intrigues Doumyouji, and he decides he'll do her the great favour of allowing Makino to hang out with him, which goes over about as well as you'd think.

The more Makino resists his debatable charms (occasionally with a kick to the head), the more fascinated he becomes, and slowly Doumyouji finds himself falling in love with this crazy, poor, unremarkable girl. As Doumyouji learns to be more human, Makino starts to have feelings for him as well. Their rocky relationship has it's ups and downs, with jealousy, mistrust, and Doumyouji's rich family threatening to keep them apart.

I haven't watched Smallville in YEARS, but damn, that Magnificent Bastard totally had a thing for her and it made me lol so hard.

Like when he and Clark traded bodies. YOU KNOW WHAT HE DID? HE HIT ON MARTHA. HE WAS SO TURNED ON HE EYEJACULATED AND SET STUFF ON FIRE. And yet. He was never a TOTAL a-hole to her. He always wanted to be on his best behavior in front of her. It was kind of sweet, kind of creepy and again, hilarious, because Martha loved Jonathan (/Bo, for... whatever reason (I didn't like him lksdf)). But that didn't stop that they were equals. He saw a brilliance in her, and she was a little taken aback by that respect at points.

It's so wrong. But so, so right. VOTE FOR IT. D:
