Just a quick note to let readers know that there are no essays scheduled for the rest of this month. We are designating it a 'free month'. If you were unable to publish your essay on or before your scheduled due date, you are welcomed to post during this month. No need to ask for an extension, just post anytime between now and November 30th.

We're also encouraging members to informally speak up about their favorite pairings. Be creative! How about the top ten reasons you ship them? Top ten facts about your OTP or maybe an ode to your favorite threesome or foursome.

I've looked at the userinfo and memories and I'm still unsure of how I sign up to claim a pairing and get a due date. Would you mind informing me how or directing me to instructions? Please and thank you!

You sign up by claiming a pairing here (http://community.livejournal.com/ship_manifesto/25926.html). Check out the master list prior to leaving a comment to make sure that your pairing hasn't already been claimed. No worries if it has. You can submit your own essay, as long as you have something significantly different to add to the previous commentary.

*pokes fingers* Does this mean I shouldn't have asked to post that manifesto of mine (the NaruSaku one) by November 15? That only essays that were scheduled Before can be posted during this time?

I deeply apologize, it is my first time posting a manifesto, so I'm not too familiar with the rules... How do I know when I can post? And since my situation is rather peculiar (it's the multiple posts one), how long will it take until I get a response on which scheme I can use to post it?

I'm serious, I can't imagine what it'd be like to manage multiple communities like that. Especially when you're managing a cross-fandom community like ship_manifesto. D=

That sounds like a brilliant idea ♥ After all, writing a manifesto requires time and doesn't happen necessarily in the spur of a moment when one just wants to declare love for a pairing/3-some/4-some/n-some.

Hm... Okay I'm new to the rules here and stuff so can you help me out? ^^; Me and a friend would like to post a manifesto sometime soon so does that mean we have to wait a whole month? And what if the pairing was already claimed or something? *confused* ^^;
