This manifesto explains why you have such an excellent grasp on Teyla and John's characters. If I had my way, this would be required reading for any writer who planned to write a Teyla/John fanfic because you give an accurate, unflinching description of the characters that we've seen on scene, instead of the romanticized versions that some fic writers wish them to be.

I love reading fic about this ship, but only when the writers actually write for the characters - warts and all.
