I have to admit I drank the Harm/Mac koolaid a long time ago, but AJ/Mac has always been an intriguing undercurrent. My favorite thing about about the 'ship is that his respect for her is so obvious, and she gets that from no one else in her life (c.f. those scenes from 'New Gun In Town' and 'Second Acts' especially).

Do you have any shorter fic recs? I'd love to read some AJ/Mac but don't have the time to jump into an epic right now.
