I dont really consider the pairing canon, but i love it and like you have said it is a lot more canon than roy/ed or envy/ed.

I have to admit i get a tad of that natural squeamishness for Het incest pairings (never did finish Angel sanctuary) but when it comes to same sex pairings i have to say i actually find it a damn sight better than the pedophile factor in some of the other pairings. (no offence...hell some elricest stories are pretty pedophiley themselves)
