My problem with Elricest is not that it's Ed/Al and because they're related, I've slashed relatives before (Fruits Basket), my problem is the idea of AL having sex.

Although I will say that all of the things you pointed out came to mind while watching the series.

And then a friend of mine wrote Hoehnheim/Ed and suddenly the original Elricest looked nice and fluffy by comparison. :)
