See, I wish the shipper wars hadn't swallowed absolutely all discussion of relationships ever, because there are so many things about C/A I might have appreciated if ME had approached it differently -- *shown* it grow into "more than friendship" rather than just *tell* us it did, you know?

And even when I wanted a B/A ending, I still think Angel's relationship with Cordelia, both famlial and other, would have helped him grow in ways that could only benefit his relationship with Buffy.

But things always get so complicated... *sigh*
