Angel and Wesley were the first slash couple I shipped. Before I knew about the world of slash, I knew I loved the two of them together. It started with "The Ring" when Wesley and Cory save Angel. Angel is being supported between the two of them and his hand is hanging over Wesley's shoulder, then he gently squeezes it. This was the defining moment for me! I screamed to my BF "did you see that? He squeezed Wesley's shoulder." Needless to say our evening ended early, but the image of Angel's long pale fingers intimately touching Wesley stuck with me until the end. Wesley and Angel sharing one last look always breaks my heart.
