I do NOT know why Spike & Wes did not have more scenes together on AtS -- but I suspect it might have been because the producers (and DB) were scared it would be instantly obvious that they had a thousand times more chemistry than Spike & Angel. (I'd watch a show called "Spike & Wes read the phone book in their hot fake English accents." Angel who?)
